Suica 3.3.2

This app is provided by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) to use Suica with Apple Pay. With this app, you can issue and charge Suica, as well as purchase commuter passes. You can conveniently use it for train and bus rides and cashless payments by simply tapping your smartphone. By registering for "JRE POINT," you can earn points when riding JR East trains. Additionally, you can also charge your Suica with the accumulated points.

What you can do with the Suica app:

• If you have an iPhone* and a credit card, you can easily start a cashless lifestyle with the Suica app. Even without a physical Suica card, you can issue a new one through the app. If you already have a Suica card, you can add it to Apple Pay on your iPhone. It can also be used on Apple Watch* by pairing it with your iPhone.

No enrollment fees, annual fees, or deposits are required. *Compatible with iPhone 8 or later, Apple Watch Series 3 or later, and models of iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2 released in Japan.

There are two payment options to choose from:

• Credit card registered in the Suica app*
• Credit card set up in Apple Pay

*You can also set up "Auto-Charge" when registering with View Card.

Available nationwide in Japan:

• Can be used on transportation systems such as railways and buses nationwide*
• Can also be used for payments at stores with IC marks nationwide and online shopping

Convenience at your fingertips:

• The Suica app provides various services:
• Charge and set up Auto-Charge for Suica
• Check electronic money balance and usage history
• Purchase and refund commuter passes, Suica Green tickets, and discounted tickets
• Import Suica commuter passes (cards)
• Print receipts (available on the member website)

Using the service:

• To receive support when needed, please register as a Mobile Suica member.
• Mobile Suica members can reissue their cards (suspend usage) in case of loss or device failure through the member website.
• Please configure your settings to receive emails from [email protected].

Important Notice:

[!] When changing or replacing devices, the following steps are necessary:

• For iPhone: Delete all Suica cards from Wallet on the old device, sign in to the same Apple ID on the new device, and then add Suica to Wallet.
• For Apple Watch: Delete all Suica cards from Wallet in the Watch app on iPhone or Apple Watch before unpairing, pair the new device with the iPhone that is signed in to the same Apple ID, and then add Suica in the Watch app.
• For devices other than those manufactured by Apple, additional procedures are required on the old device. Please sign in to an unconfigured Apple ID on iPhone/Apple Watch to receive Suica.

[!] Suica cannot be used when the device is powered off:

• If the device runs out of power during use (within ticket gates), you will need to pay the fare in cash for your travel.

[!] Don't forget to set up Express Card for Suica:

• To pass through automatic ticket gates without biometric authentication, you need to set up "Express Card." Biometric authentication may be required for purposes other than transportation.

Integration with various apps and services for even greater convenience:

JRE POINT:

By registering Mobile Suica with "JRE POINT," you can accumulate points when using certain JRE POINT-affiliated stores and JR East trains. You can earn more points with train usage compared to the card-type Suica, making it more advantageous.

Touch and Go! Shinkansen:

You can register for "Touch and Go! Shinkansen" through the Suica app (settings will be carried over even if you import the Suica card). You can board the Shinkansen unreserved seats using your charge balance (no advance reservation required).

Shinkansen e-Ticket service:

By registering with "eKinetsu" and linking your Suica to your IC card information, you can use various JR East Shinkansen services without receiving a paper ticket from ticket machines or ticket counters. Early application allows you to enjoy special discounts such as "eKinetsu Tokuda-Value" and "Advance Tokuda-Value."

Express Reservation:

By registering separately, you can also use JR Central's "Express Reservation" service (paid service).
